The Mosque and a Theologically Androgynous President

Steel Beam Cross at Ground Zero, NYC There's been a lot of talk and anger about the proposed building of a mosque 2 blocks from Ground Zero in NY. Actually, it's NOT 2 blocks from Ground Zero because the building was actually hit by falling landing gear from one of the jets that slammed into the Twin Towers on 9/11 so that actually makes it part of Ground Zero. But is it right or wrong? Should they be allowed to build it there?Should this particular Imam be allowed to build a mosque anywhere? We, the USA, YOUR TAX $$, are sending this Imam on official business around the Middle East representing the US... Is this right? We, the USA, YOUR TAX $$,...

Pavlina Says Jesus was a Fictional Character

Steve Pavlina is a smart man. He's owned a successful software company and has now, for several years, authored a successful and profitable blog focused on Personal Development for Smart People. The good thing about America is that the best in people comes out at times like this. We give an official salute to the men and, presumably women, who have taken it upon themselves to protect the families of our fallen soldiers from these religious nuts. The following is from the: telegraph.co.uk Bikers on guard at war funerals By Francis Harris in Kokomo Link to Original Article The sound of...

Religious Nuts Protesting at Our Soldiers Funerals

This is about as low as it gets... The problem with living in a free country is that you have to take the good, in this case the freaking nuts, with the bad. Everyone that can read seems to think that they can interpret the Bible and the misguided folk at Kansas based Westboro Baptist Church seem to have come up with the stupid idea that God is punishing homosexuality by killing American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now I don't condone, support, or care much for homosexuality, but this is the most outrageous thing I've ever read about God. I believe if God had a beef to settle with the homosexuals then he'd take it up directly with them,...
