Stop Elena Kagan's Nomination to the Supreme Court. Back during the election I stated that one of worst aspects of an Obama Presidency would be his appointments to the Supreme Court. It's a lifetime appointment. A Judge that Obama selects is like having Obama on the Supreme Court for 30 or 40 years - most of us can't wait until he's gone and don't want anyone HE selects having that kind of power for that many years. I just read where Obama is meeting with grassroots gay activists. Seems to me he should be finding some people who know how to stop an oil well leak and secure the borders. Americans inherently possess a sense of fairness, a sense of right and wrong, a propensity for helping our neighbors and believing in a greater cause than one's self... or at least we used to. Unfortunately these traits are becoming more and more reserved for temporary display during, and shortly after, natural or man-made disasters. I've not lost all hope yet though. Go to a Friday night football game and most spectators, and players, want a fair, competitive game.
