Repeal ObamaCare: H.R. 4972, introduced by Congressman Steve King, says the following... Effective as of the enactment of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, such Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted. This is what needs to happen - make ObamaCare go away. Poof! So why have only 90 of the 179 representatives that claim to be Conservative signed on as Co-Sponsors? Unfortunately we can't trust many of our Representatives to represent us. Americans overwhelmingly oppose Obamacare. I just read where Obama is meeting with grassroots gay activists. Seems to me he should be finding some people who know how to stop an oil well leak and secure the borders. Maybe he should meet with some people who could explain to him what this country is and what it stands for, you know, some real Americans, instead of the people he seems to surround himself with. Do most people realize that the people he's met with so far about the oil well spill are not oil people? If your plumbing was dumping raw sewage into your house, would you call the local university and setup a meeting with a professor, or would you call an experienced plumber?...

Americans inherently possess a sense of fairness, a sense of right and wrong, a propensity for helping our neighbors and believing in a greater cause than one's self... or at least we used to. Unfortunately these traits are becoming more and more reserved for temporary display during, and shortly after, natural or man-made disasters. I've not lost all hope yet though. Go to a Friday night football game and most spectators, and players, want a fair, competitive game. Bad calls by inattentive or incompetent referees, or cheating by the coaches or players, will get everyone yelling and screaming. As well it should. Any loss may be heartbreaking, however losing a game well played to a better team is different...

My friend (let's call him Buckshot for now because he's not ready to reveal his secret identity just yet) who writes the Twitter feed for Double Barreled Opinions said he's considering leaving the country. I responded that if you do, they've won... he responded that they may already have won. Not yet they've not. I could quote a lot of famous people and some not so famous ones to try and inspire you to take action. But I'm not going to. In this clip from today's Health Care Summit... like several of the exchanges, the President is not interested in talking about the facts, or the figures. He squirms and glares when the Republicans try to talk about facts and figures in his proposals. Obama is intentionally trying to belittle Senator McCain and rub it in his face that he lost the election... If he wants to buddy up to Senator McCain and call him John, then that's fine for when they're having a beer summit, but not for a formal event like this.
