Tell Congress to Drill For American Oil NOW! Alert: Do record $139-per-barrel prices make you want to scream? Oil prices jumped nearly 9 percent to a record $139 a barrel yesterday. Are you ready to scream yet? Look at the energy chaos that our government has allowed. While we remain at the mercy of oil companies, cartels and OPEC, our government has tied the hands of states and citizens to tap even temporary energy relief from our own land. Here are a few key vistas on the oil and energy landscape at the moment: Though we have more oil in the shale of Colorado, Utah and Wyoming than combined in the Middle East (800 billion barrels), liberals and environmentalists have...

Some things you just don't mess with... mama, Iwo Jima, Clint Eastwood, Andy Griffith, the facts about history, John Wayne, and Jonny Cash. Politically Correct and Clint Eastwood don't mesh. I'm glad. Thank God some things are stable and you can actually count on them. Some people, like Spike Lee, like to throw stones and stir things up. He's also a Barack Hussein Obama supporter so you know I don't like him too much. Clint Eastwood recently directed two movies, Letters from Iwo Jima and Flags of Our Fathers. It seems that Spike prompted reporters to ask Clint why he didn't include any blacks in these two films about Iwo Jima. Mr. Eastwood responded by saying that he was...

Barack Hussein Obama is on the campaign trail now that he's the Democratic Party presidential nominee. He's preaching among other things: raising taxes on upper income Americans. Read My Lips Barack Hussein Obama: No More Taxes. He's supposed to be a smart person, but it doesn't take a genius to understand that raising taxes is like putting water on a fire... it puts it out the economy. I compare it to a redneck in the grocery store with a crying toddler threatening the toddler with a spanking if they don't stop crying. "I'm gonna beat you if you don't stop crying"... WAAAAAAA. It just does not get the desired effect. When will they wise up? Want to get the...

Tell Congress No More "Sanctuary City" Protection For Illegal Gangs. Alert: They are called by one source "the most dangerous gang in America." And it's one U.S. import Toronto definitely wants to stop at the border. They're known officially as "Mara Salvatrucha 13," but most people refer to them by a much simpler name: MS-13. But no matter what you call them, law enforcement officials - including the FBI - pronounce them a real danger to any community where they set up shop. On Wednesday, Toronto Police conducted a series of early morning raids aimed primarily at stopping the group before they get any traction in the GTA. We may not know for a while how successful those efforts were,...

Tell Congress to pass legislation that will secure our borders. Alert: McALLEN, Texas - A federal bid request to build three hotly contested pieces of the border fence in Cameron County has turned up the pressure on local officials and landowners still holding out. Brownsville and its county have been the nerve center for some of the most outspoken opposition along the 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border. The local university has railed against the fence, which would divide its campus, and landowners have fought it for months in federal court. U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo of Colorado caused a kerfuffle at a congressional field hearing in late April when he suggested the fence be built north of Brownsville. Yet the government has not...

Tell Congress that America needs secured borders. Alert: The man honored by the shrine to Jesus Malverde in Culiacan, so often packed with locals, is no ordinary Mexican saint Malverde was a Sinaloan bandit who has been adopted as a kind of a patron saint by the northern province's drug traffickers. Sinaloa is the cradle of Mexico's narco-trafficking industry, producing the majority of the nation's drug kingpins in recent decades. Their number includes such storied figures as Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo, who ran the Guadalajara Cartel and ordered the savage killing of a DEA agent; Amado Carrillo Fuentes, alias "The Lord of the Skies," who died in plastic surgery while attempting to change his appearance; and the Arellano Felix...
