We should all be shocked and outraged by this treatment of our injured military personal: http://www.thenation.com/doc/20070409/kors. It's a long article that details an investigation into the military tricking injured soldiers into taking a Chapter 5-13 personality disorder for pre-existing condition discharge and thereby loosing their medical benefits... all to save the military money because they don't have to provide medical care to soldiers discharged with a pre-existing personality disorder. Soldiers discharged under Chapter 5-13 can't collect disability pay. Also, if a soldier dismissed under Chapter 5-13 hasn't served out his contract, he has to give back part of his re-enlistment bonus. That amount is often larger than the soldier's final paycheck. Missouri: On 4/21/2007 in Maryland Heights, MO, a drunken illegal immigrant rear-ended a car stopped at a stoplight, killing one passenger and injuring the other passenger and the driver. The illegal immigrant ran from his car and was found hiding in near by woods 3 hours later, still intoxicated. Here's the link to the newspaper article: Article. I learned of this tragedy from the message board on Rhonda Vincent's web site (www.RhondaVincent.com). Rhonda is a bluegrass superstar, 7 times IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Female Vocalist of the year award winner. There was a message posted on Rhonda's web site by her husband asking for prayers for the family: the father of the girl that was killed was his best...
