Palin's Pathetic Pundits

Palin's Pathetic Pundits

Sarah Palin in Elon, NC

I don't buy all the gossip that's spewing forth about Governor Sarah Palin. I think it's unprofessional, tacky and outrageous on the part of the former McCain campaign staffers. Of course they're all "anonymous" reports. The McCain campaign did not run a good campaign and it's deplorable that they've turned to attacking Palin.

Even if she was a diva or spent too much money on dresses: who cares. Even if she threw a tantrum or two and yelled at these same staffers: who cares, it sounds like they deserved it if they acted then like they're acting now. She put a five-stage rocket under the Republican Party and all they could manage to do was mishandle her and loose control of what should have been a great ascent.

What about her supposed lack of knowledge on certain topics? I'm pretty sure she can learn. What she posses in leadership, drive, and ability to rally the cause can't be taught, it's a gift. It's a shame her own team is so petty that they would risk damaging her positive influence.

McCain's campaign handlers didn't know what to do with Palin. Instead of letting her do what she obviously does well, and I say obvious because of her accomplishments in Alaska, they tried to mold her and contain her. The very reasons that McCain selected her were squashed by his team. What a shame.

I've said many times that Obama did not win this election, even with his almost 3 to 1 advantage in cash; rather, John McCain lost this election. Is it any wonder why with campaign staffers like this?

Personally, I think Palin is analogous to Rocky Balboa from the Rocky series of movies. Rocky was always the winner in the end, but in the first fight or two he always lost. He was always beat up. Then he retreated and worked on his weak points and built up his strengths. When he came back out for the next fight he was unstoppable. I think Governor Palin will be back. She has a lot of supporters.

Until Next Time,
Fred

Sarah Palin was the best part of this ticket...she is a true conservative...not a centrist. The only part of conservative that McCain gets right is the war. And I think McCain is trying to pull the Republican party left which is why he couldn't get his message across. There wasn't a big enough difference between the 2 candidates except for the war. Sarah Palin, on the other hand, extolls true conservative values and is a much better communicator than John McCain. All of this bitterness from both the lame stream media and the McCain camp is disgusting. If McCain had any class he would come out and tell his staff to knock it off and thank Palin for giving 90 days of her life and 100% to his lackluster campaign.

I would like to thank Sarah Palin for handing this election over to Barack Obama on a silver platter.

When John McCain chose Sarah Palin to be his V.P. I felt this was the shot in the arm that the Republican Party needed. Palin brought an enthusiastic personality and a candid approach that McCain, Obama and Biden could only dream of.

Palin got a good dose of how ugly national policts and the members of our media can be. I want to say the media should be ashamed of themselves, but how could they be when the word "conscience" is not part of their vocabulary? Like the late Dr. Martin Luther King had a dream, well so do I. My dream is that one day our beloved media can be completely unbiased in reporting and stop being so blatant in their opinions and intentions(in the case that they wanted Obama as president). One can only hope.

Unfortunately Palin and the Republican Party was fighting an uphill battle as a result of the Republicans occupying the Oval Office for the last eight years. Being tagged with the war and the current economic conditions(although the Democrats are just as much to blame, if not more so to blame for the mortgage crisis) that has sent this economy in a tail spin. If anything, the media "upped the ante" on discrediting Palin and the Republican campaign because of the true values that she brought with her.

I'm not saying she is perfect, however, out of the Democratic ticket and McCain, she stood the tallest and had the most conviction when she spoke. I am sure she walked away with learning a lot about national politics in a short time. There is no doubt that she is a fighter, and if she comes back in 2012 in whatever capacity, she will be better prepared.

In closing, the media keeps jamming down our throats that history was made with electing Obama. True, but the election was no doubt tainted by the media's reporting, ACORN's criminal tactics and McCain's flatline campaign. History could have been written just as well on Palin's election as V.P. This direction would have given the 55 million who voted for the Republican ticket more hope than the 62 million who voted in the Socialist President in disguise that repeatedly lied and "ummed" and "uhed" his way in to the Oval Office. God help us all, we are going to need it these next four years. By the way after January 20th, I will still be able to use the word "God" respectfully, won't I?
