The above video clip is dated October 21, 2008 from CNBC... listen closely to what he says... here's the direct link if the video does not correctly show above: Barney Frank Video.
Warning Shot... Barney Frank Says Ignore Deficit and Tax, Tax, Tax. He'll be one of Obama's right-hand men too. This is scary and foreboding of things to come. Taken together with Obama's "share the wealth" comment, it should be taken as a warning shot over the bow of free enterprise.
How stupid is Barney Frank? Off the scale. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the stupidest, he's a 49 or 50 on a good day, on a bad day he approaches infinity.
History has shown over and over that taxing during economic crisis slows the economy and reduces employment. But I guess he was too busy spending all his kickbacks from Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac to do much book learning.
Enough is Enough!
How much longer are we going to tolerate elected officials like Barney Frank, Frank Dodd, Nancy Pelosi, and the like? People who are completely incompetent and totally self-serving. How long until we say enough is enough?
Scary...
Speaking of danger ahead, Barack Obama had a "Job Summit" in Florida today and one of his panel experts was Paul Volcker. I've also heard Obama mention his name before as one of his financial advisors. Paul Volcker was Chairman of the Federal Reserve from 1979 to 1987. He was hastily appointed by Jimmy Carter in the financial crisis he created. He also served under Ronald Reagan, I don't understand why Reagan didn't replace him but he didn't. Volcker was instrumental in getting more and more power in the hands of the Federal Reserve. The financial changes imposed by Volcker changed the country and in turn the world. Millions lost jobs, homes, fames, and savings. This is not the type of person we need in an advisory position. Hopefully we won't have to worry about it because hopefully Obama will not win this election.
