Family with Down Syndrome Child Meets John McCain and Sarah Palin at a rally in Washington, Pennsylvania
You probably didn't see this on CNN or NBC, maybe not even Fox.
I received this in an email that's going around about John McCain and Sarah Palin having an impromptu meeting with a family that came to a rally on September 9th. Turns out its true.
Basically, a family with a five year old child with Down syndrome attended a rally in Washington, Pennsylvania and carried a sign saying "We Love Kids with Down Syndrome". As the McCain bus drove past them on the way in, they made eye contact with McCain and Palin through the bus windows. After the event, McCain and Palin had the Secret Service bring the family back to where the bus was parked for a low key, discrete meeting with the McCain and Palin families. They didn't do this for publicity or they would have done it in front of a large group of people, instead, they were just being human, just being nice. Now that's refreshing...
Kurt, his wife Margie, their son Nolan, and their daughter Chloe met with Senator John McCain and his wife Cindy, Governor Sarah Palin and her husband Todd and their children Piper and Trig.
Quote from Kurt: "When she hugged my daughter I said, here's the difference, this candidate embraces life and all its limitless possibilities."

So here's a Big Double Barreled Salute to John McCain and Sarah Palin. This is the second Double Barreled Salute that Palin has received from me!
Until next time,
