Palin Uninvited After Hillary Disses Protest

Is it just me or does something about this just smell bad, really bad?

Vice Presidential Candidate Governor Sarah Palin was invited, and agreed, to speak at a protest really in New York on September 22. The purpose of the rally is to protest Iranian President Mahmound Ahmadinejad and his nuclear programs and terrorism. Pretty important stuff right?

The protest organizers had also asked Hillary Clinton to speak, an invitation which she accepted.

It seems that after Hillary learned that Sarah Palin was also going to speak, Mrs. Clinton backed out. Now I don't know if the decision to cancel came from Hillary herself, or from the Obama machine.

A day later, the protest organizers have rescinded Palin's invitation to speak, stating that they don't want a media frenzy and don't want to loose the focus of the protest. Huh? Let see if I understand this correctly. You invite Governor Sara Palin, the most talked about VP Candidate, whose nomination has sparked this campaign like throwing gas on a fire, AND, you invite Senator Hillary Clinton, former First Lady and a major contender to the Democratic Presidential Nomination. And you don't want media attention? Who organizes a protest and wants the media to stay away? Nobody, that's who. No, something else happened here. These guys were trying to get major media attention on their protest and got squashed like a bug under Obama's boots.

Hillary either showed a lack of class and made the decision to pull out on her own, or was commanded by the Obama machine to pull out and not appear together with Sarah Palin. And my guess is that somehow, pressure was put on the organizers by Obama's Democratic Machine to rescind Palin's invitation.

All in all, the whole thing stinks.

McCain and Palin are more interested in this country and the security of this country than they are in playing partisan politics. I think McCain and Palin have the class to stand together with Obama, Biden, Hillary, or whoever and present a solid stance to a problematic, terrorist supporting nation like Iran. The same cannot obviously be said about Obama, Biden, or Hillary Clinton: they put themselves and their agenda first. Who knows, Ahmadinejad may be another one of Obama's long lost friends. Or maybe Obama would rather invite him over to have dinner and drinks with some of his old buddies who used to blow things up.

Until next time,
Recoil
