Barack Obama - The Chameleon.

Barack Obama - The Chameleon.
Barack Hussein Obama is like a one-size-fits-all garment: he changes and stretches to get the vote. Or better yet, he's like a chameleon, constantly changing colors, view points, opinions, and history, to try and get votes.

Take his stance on federal funding for his campaign. He originally promised to use federal funding, but later backtracked. Federal funding is part of the reform of campaign spending that, if I recall correctly, Obama wanted. In case you don't realize it, by agreeing to use federal funds, you are limited to how much you can spend on your campaign. Once Obama saw that his money raising potential far, far exceeded the federal funding limits, he quickly made up some excuses as to why he wasn't going to play by the rules again. John McCain is going to use federal funding, thereby limiting his campaign spending. Even though McCain's ability to raise money is somewhat dwarfed by Obama's, McCain could choose to not accept federal funding and appeal to his supporters to fuel the fire. He's not going to do that, McCain is going to stick to his word.

What about taxes. Look at Obama's history on taxes: Obama has voted to raise our taxes 94 times in 3 years, even voting for higher taxes for Americans making $42,000 per year. So his campaign promise of not raising taxes has as much weight as his promise to abide by the campaign spending reform and use federal funding vs. private funding.

Implementing everything that Obama promises to implement will put a taxation choke-hold on this country. Read his official propaganda, I mean web site, and you'll quickly see that he wants to provide everything for everybody and every special interest group. Who's going to pay for it? The taxpayer that's who. Take this quote that's on his web site under "Urban Policy":

"Plan to Stimulate Urban Prosperity"
"Americans work harder than the people of any other wealthy nation. We are willing to tolerate more economic instability and are willing to take more personal risks to get ahead. But we can only compete if our government makes the investments that give us a fighting chance - and if we know our families have some net beneath which they cannot fall."

-- Barack Obama, "The Audacity of Hope"

First of all, not all Americans work all that hard anymore, which is part of the problem. Why you may ask? Because we have generations of Americans who have grown up thinking the government, which is really we the people, owe them something. They have been raised to live on that "net" that Obama wants to put under everyone. They no more want to work that I want to drive a nail through my foot. And, quite frankly, if they see the opportunity to exploit a government program, policy, or law to their advantage they will.

Second of all, by providing that net under everyone, Obama will turn the rest of the country, those of us who do work hard, into useless, non-productive, citizens as well. So, no thank you Barack.

Real Americans want the opportunity to succeed or fail on a fair playing field, without being taxed to death by a government who wants to hand everything to everyone on a silver platter.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about: I recently overheard a truck driver talking about seeing a bus accident. He said a taxi came around him on a narrow road beside a factory and ran into the side of a bus. He saw two workers from the factory, who were walking along this road with their lunch boxes, throw their lunch boxes away and go lay down among the injured passengers. I didn't get it until I asked why they would do such a thing: he said because they figured there would be a settlement and they would get some of it. Sure enough, he said he heard that the passengers each received about $30,000 in compensation. That's the kind of mentality you create by putting a net beneath which we can't fall. Obama will create a nation of freeloaders.

Please start taking action today to preserve our country by supporting John McCain. Talk to people. So many people who say they don't want Barack Hussein Obama for President don't seem to realize that they MUST VOTE for John McCain to keep Barack out of office.

Sincerely,
Recoil
